Wind Alert Update #01 (As of 11:20 AM Mon Oct 29 2018)

Strong winds associated with the approaching Typhoon Yutu (ROSITA) and the surge of Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will impact Batanes and Babuyan Island GroupCagayanIlocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, ApayaoAbraKalinga, Mt. Province, Isabela, IfugaoBenguetNva. Vizcaya, Nva. EcijaQuirino, Aurora, Quezon, Bulacan, Pangasinan and Zambales bringing cool blustery to extreme wind conditions, Moderate to High seas (3.0 to 6.0 m) and the Potential for Storm Surge/Coastal Flooding across the Whole Coastal Areas of Extreme Northern & Northern Luzon – Today through Tuesday morning (October 30)  The winds will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGERED, VIOLET (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible damaging winds of 75 to above 130 km/hr.
