Warm EASTERLIES (EASTERLY TRADE WIND) continue to sweep across EASTERN section of LUZON, including METROPOLITAN MANILA, BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA & VISAYAS. It will bring some cloud cover, and increase the chances of occasional rain showers or thunderstorm, but hot, humid and dry overall.
Meanwhile, as of 7PM, TROPICAL DEPRESSION AMBO upgraded from TROPICAL DISTURBANCE 95W (LPA), and was last seen at (9.0°N lat 129.2°E long), or about 310 km east of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. We’ll monitor this system within the next 3-5 days if it does intensify and threaten the islands east of the country.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have clear to partly cloudy skies and some chances of isolated to scattered rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
