NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) continues to prevail, bringing partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, cooler conditions with passing light to moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across BATANES and BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP & NORTHERN LUZON. Winds will be fresh to strong gale of 35 to 79 kph, making the seas moderate to rough/extremely high seas (2.0 to 10.0 meters) and is treacherous for all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
Meanwhile, Warm EASTERLIES (EASTERLY TRADE WIND) is affecting EASTERN LUZON, METROPOLITAN MANILA, SOUTHERN TAGALOG, BICOL REGION, EASTERN VISAYAS, NORTHERN & EASTERN MINDANAO bringing isolated to scattered light rain shower or thunderstorm.
As of 5:00 PM today, Severe Tropical Storm PHANFONE stays over the West Philippine Sea, and is forecast to exit the PAR line anytime soon. It was last seen near 405 km WSW of Alaminos City, Pangasinan (15.0N 116.4E), with maximum sustained winds of 110 kph near the center.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have clear to partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain shower or thunderstorm in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
