TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 96W upgraded from a Weak LPA and its associated TROUGHS will bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms across LUZON, VISAYAS, MIMAROPA, NORTHERN MINDANAO, and CARAGA.

Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms especially during the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES or LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms within the mentioned weather systems.
