WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 6pm December 25 until 6pm December 26, 2019

Warm EASTERLIES (WEAK AMIHAN) has returned, affecting BATANES – BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, NORTHERN LUZON, CENTRAL LUZON & BICOL REGION, bringing isolated to scattered light rain shower or thunderstorm.

As of 5:00 PM today, Typhoon PHANFONE is in the vicinity of Mindoro Strait as it continues to track West-northwestward with speeds of 16 km/hr just North of Coron in the coming hours. It was last seen near 69 km NE of Coron, Northern Palawan (12.4N 120.7E), with maximum sustained winds of 165 kph near the center. The Typhoon is about to traverse into the open waters of the West Philippine Sea late tomorrow.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain shower or thunderstorm in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
