The NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) continues to persist across BATANES – BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, rest of NORTHERN LUZON & EASTERN LUZON, wherein partly cloudy to cloudy skies, cooler conditions with occasional drizzles, light to widespread moderate rain showers can be expected in the mentioned areas. Fresh breeze to Gale-force winds of 35 to 70 km/hr will blow along these areas, making the sea conditions moderate up to high sea state, and is dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
As of 5:00 PM today, Tropical Storm RAMON stays almost stationary, but is forecast to resume it Westward track off the East Philippine Sea and was last seen at about 416 km E of Casiguran, Aurora (15.9N 126.0E), with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center. Its broad circulation however, and TROUGH is bringing mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms across BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA and NORTHERN VISAYAS.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
