TROPICAL STORM TEMBIN (VINTA) has weakened from SEVERE TROPICAL STORM overnight while traversing over Central Mindanao and was located near 297 km ENE of ZAMBOANGA CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times torrential rains over VISAYAS and MINDANAO.
Meanwhile, the prevailing surge of NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) continue to affect EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION, VISAYAS, PALAWAN including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG) bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times heavy rain showers or thunderstorms Near-gale to gale (30-60 kph) force winds will blow, making the seas Rough to High (4.0 to 7.0 meters) and dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
