NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) is bringing partly to mostly cloudy skies and cool weather conditions with occasionally light to at times moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON and MIMAROPA. Near-gale to gale (30-60 kph) force winds will blow, making the seas Rough to High (4.0 to 7.5 meters) and dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on, while TROPICAL DEPRESSION KAI-TAK (URDUJA) was located near 64 km NNW of PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times torrential rains over PALAWAN including KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG).
Meanwhile, TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 97W remain quasi-stationary outside the PAR line, in the vicinity of Western Micronesia. It has been downgraded to LOW (<35% CHANCE) of becoming a significant tropical cyclone within 24 hours.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
