TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 95W located over the Spratly Islands or 722 km west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (9.8N 112.2E) together with its associated TROUGH – will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG).
NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions across EXTREME NORTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN LUZON (includes BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS). Moderate breeze to high winds (25 to 60 kph) with moderate to very rough seas of 2 to 5.5 meters will be expected along these areas, making it dangerous to small and medium-sized sea vessels.
Meanwhile, the REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will be clear to mostly cloudy conditions with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
