The EASTERLIES (EASTERLY TRADE WINDS) has slightly weakened as it continues to affect the EASTERN and CENTRAL portions of VISAYAS and MINDANAO bringing light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over the aforementioned areas.

Meanwhile, the SURFACE TROUGH still persists well-within the WEST PHILIPPINE SEA and is expected to bring partly to mostly cloudy conditions with isolated to light scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over KALAYAAN IS. GROUP (KIG), and SOUTHERN PALAWAN.
