SOUTHWESTERLIES (Southwesterly Surface Windflow/Weak Habagat) is becoming more dominant and is bringing partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered light to at times moderate rain showers and thunderstorms across MIMAROPA, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG), SULU ARCHIPELAGO, PANAY, BICOL REGION, CALABARZON, METRO MANILA, BATAAN, ZAMBALES, ILOCOS REGION, SCARBOROUGH (PANATAG) SHOAL, BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS.
Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will continue to have clear to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
