Cold surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will continue to bring partly to mostly cloudy skies, cooler conditions with passing isolated to occasional rain showers or thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN and EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION, MINDORO, MIMAROPA, NORTHERN and CENTRAL VISAYAS. It will be more frequent along the Eastern Sections of the affected areas. Fresh breeze to gale-force winds (35 to 72 km/hr) will blow from the northeast, making the seas moderate to very rough/high seas (2.0 to 7.5 meters), and is treacherous to all types of sea vessels.
Meanwhile, the Remnants of TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 01W [AMANG] will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thundestorms across the BICOL REGION. As of 11:00 AM today, the Remnants of LPA (AMANG) was located just 152 km E of Sorsogon City, Sorsogon (12.8°N Lat 125.4°E Lon). The potential of becoming a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours remain LOW (<35% chance).
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or possible thunderstorms in some areas.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
