NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) surges on bringing partly to mostly cloudy skies and cool weather conditions with occasionally light to at times moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION, VISAYAS & PALAWAN. Moderate to strong breeze (25-50 kph) will blow, making the seas moderate to rough (1.5 to 4.0 meters) and dangerous to small or medium-sized sea vessels to navigate on.
Meanwhile, TROPICAL DISTURBANCE 96W was located at 326 km E of BORONGAN, EASTERN SAMAR bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times torrential rains over EASTERN VISAYAS, while the WESTERLIES (WESTERLY WINDFLOW) will bring some passing light to at times moderate rain showers or thunderstorms across SOUTHERN PALAWAN, SULU ARCHIPELAGO including WESTERN & SOUTHERN MINDANAO.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
