WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 1pm September 04 until 1pm September 05, 2019

TROUGH of TYPHOON LINGLING [LIWAYWAY] will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across BATANES ISLAND GROUP.

Meanwhile, at 11:00 AM today, TY LINGLING [LIWAYWAY] was seen drifting Northeastward over the Bashi Channel, at about 344 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.2N 124.7E). It was moving NE slowly @ 07 kph with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center with no landfall expected.

In the meantime, the SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) is prevailing and will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered to occasional light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN LUZON, WESTERN LUZON & CENTRAL LUZON. The sea conditions will be dangerous to all sea crafts to navigate on.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
