WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 1pm October 21 until 1pm October 22, 2017

NORTHERLY SURFACE WINDFLOW affecting EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, where mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions with occasional rain showers (drizzles to moderate), with fresh breeze to high wind of 30 to 55 kph. The sea conditions along these areas will be rough and dangerous (with 3 to 4 meters waves) and risky to sea vessels.

Meanwhile, a SOUTHWESTERLY SURFACE WINDFLOW (still enhanced by STY LAN (PAOLO)) will continue to bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions with scattered to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms across PALAWAN, WESTERN VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, NORTHERN AND WESTERN MINDANAO including KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP.

THE REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
