The NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) is sweeping across BATANES – BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, NORTHERN LUZON, CENTRAL LUZON, including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG), wherein partly cloudy to cloudy skies, cooler conditions with occasional drizzles, light to widespread moderate rain showers can be expected in the mentioned areas. Fresh breeze to Gale-force winds of 35 to 70 km/hr will blow along these areas, making the sea conditions moderate up to high sea state, and is dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
As of 11:00 AM today, Tropical Storm RAMON is well over land, deep within the mountainous regions of Northern Luzon, and is forecast to maintain its Southwestward heading towards Western Luzon. It was last seen near 77 km ENE of Baguio City, Benguet (16.6N 121.3E), with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center. Meanwhile, the other system, Tropical Storm SARAH was located at 592 km E of Palanan, Isabela (17.2N 128.0E), with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have clear to partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
