WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 1pm Jun 30 until 1pm Jul 01, 2017

TROUGH (from LPA 97W) will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across the EASTERN SECTIONS OF NORTHERN LUZON.

THE REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have Fair Weather with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms especially during the afternoon or evening in some areas.

Meanwhile, a new developing LPA (99W) has been spotted forming near the eastern border of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), about 1,143 km East of Eastern Samar (11.2N 135.9E).  This LPA will be closely monitored as it has a MEDIUM (35-65%) chance of developing into a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES or LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
