WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 1pm Apr 15 until 1pm Apr 16, 2017

TROPICAL DEPRESSION 02W (CRISING) now upgraded from DISTURBANCE (LPA) 92W was last seen near 180 km ESE of Borongan, Eastern Samar, and is heading NNW towards the Samar Provinces at 11 kph, with winds of 55 kph and gusting to 75 kph.  It is forecast to traverse the VISAYAN ISLANDS beginning late Saturday night through Sunday (Apr 15-16) weakening overtime.

The Trough of this LPA will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered occasional rain showers and thunderstorms across EASTERN and SOUTHERN VISAYAS, BICOL REGION and NORTHEASTERN MINDANAO.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have Partly Cloudy periods with some possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
