TROUGH of TYPHOON LINGLING [LIWAYWAY] is bringing mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across BATANES ISLAND GROUP.
Meanwhile, at 11:00 AM today, TY LINGLING [LIWAYWAY] was seen moving Northward over the East China Sea Region, about 492 km North-northeast of Basco, Batanes (28.9N 125.0E). It was moving N slowly @ 22 kph with maximum sustained winds of 222 kph near the center aiming for North Korea in the coming days.
In the meantime, the SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) continue to prevail and will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered to occasional light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN LUZON, WESTERN LUZON, CENTRAL LUZON & CALABARZON. The sea conditions will be dangerous to all sea crafts to navigate on.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
