WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm October 31 until 12pm November 01, 2017

TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 96W located in the vicinity of Dinagat Islands (9.7N 126.0E) together with its associated TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across SOUTHERN BICOL, VISAYAS, MiMaRoPa, and NORTHERN MINDANAO.  This LPA has a low chance (<35%) of becoming a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will provide mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms over EXTREME NORTHERN, NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON, REST OF BICOL REGION, CaLaBaRZon including METRO MANILA.  Moderate breeze to High Winds from 25 to 60 kph will be expected along the NORTHERN AND EASTERN SEABOARDS of LUZON, making the seas moderate to very rough and dangerous to small and medium-sized sea vessels.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
