WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm October 27 until 12pm October 28, 2017

TROUGH OF TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 95W will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across SOUTHERN PALAWAN AND THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF SULU including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG).

Meanwhile, the surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) enhanced by TROPICAL STORM SAOLA (QUEDAN) will continue to bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with passing isolated to scattered light to moderate rain showers across EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON (includes BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS). Moderate Breeze to High Winds (25 to 55 kph) will be expected along these areas particularly along the coastal areas, and the seas around these areas will be moderate to rough (2 to 4 meters) and dangerous to small and medium-sized sea vessels.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
