WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm October 20 until 12pm October 21, 2017

The combined effects of SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW (enhanced by Typhoon LAN (PAOLO)) and LPA (EX-26W) will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms over NORTHERN SECTIONS OF PALAWAN, SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF MINDORO, WESTERN, CENTRAL, and EASTERN VISAYAS, SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF BICOL REGION, and WESTERN SECTIONS OF MINDANAO.

NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will provide mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with light to at times moderate scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over EXTREME NORTHERN and NORTHERN LUZON. Strong breeze to near gale winds of 45 to 55 kph with significant wave heights of 4.0 to 5.0 m (Rough to Very Rough) are expected to prevail across the mentioned areas making the seas risky to both small-sized and medium-sized sea vessels.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
