WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm October 09 until 12pm October 10, 2017

TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 95W located about 239 km East of Baler, Aurora (15.7N 123.8E), and its associated TROUGH – will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across LUZON, NORTHERN AND EASTERN VISAYAS, MINDORO, ROMBLON, MARINDUQUE, SURIGAO PROVINCES including DINAGAT ISLANDS.  The potential of LPA 95W becoming a significant Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours has been downgraded to LOW (<35% chance).

Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will continue to have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
