WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Oct 02 until 12pm Oct 03, 2018

TROUGH of SUPER TYPHOON KONG-REY (QUEENIE) will bring partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies (overcast) with light to at times moderate rain showers and thunderstorms across EASTERN LUZON & BICOL REGION. At 10:30 AM today, the center was located near 1,100 km E of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.8°N Lat  132.1°E Lon), with maximum sustained winds of 259 km/hr with higher gusts reaching 315 km/hr.  It was moving WNW @ 16 km/hr towards the North Philippine Sea.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in during the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
