EASTERLIES (EASTERLY WIND FLOW) continue to bring about partly cloudy conditions with scattering of light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms across the Eastern sections of the country, while a SURFACE TROUGH extends to the Eastern and Southern part of MINDANAO bringing some patches of cloudiness and light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have some cloud cover and the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
