WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm November 08 until 12pm November 09, 2017

At 11:00 AM today, TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 99W was located over the southeastern part of the Central Philippine Sea, about 553 km East of Tacloban City, Leyte (10.8N 130.0E).  Its rainbands together with its Trough will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with scattered to widespread light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across EASTERN VISAYAS, SOUTHERN BICOL, EASTERN AND SOUTHERN MINDANAO. The potential of LPA 99W of becoming a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours is MEDIUM (35-65% chance).

Meanwhile, the NORTHEASTERLIES (NORTHEASTERLY WINDFLOW) will bring partly to mostly cloudy conditions with passing light to at times moderate rain showers and thunderstorms across EASTERN LUZON including NORTHERN BICOL.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
