WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm May 02 until 12pm May 03, 2019

A STATIONARY FRONT (FRONTAL BOUNDARY) is bringing some cloud cover and periods of light to at times moderate rain showers or thunderstorm across the BATANES & BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP.

Meanwhile, a newly formed TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 90W was seen near 1,640 km. E of Tandag City, Surigao Del Sur – just SSE of Yap State. The system is currently at MEDIUM (35-65% Chance) of becoming a significant Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have clear to partly cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or possible thunderstorms developing in places.
