Warm EASTERLIES (EASTERLY TRADE WIND) continues to prevail across SOUTHERN BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA, VISAYAS & REST OF MINDANAO, bringing some cloudiness and chances for light to at times moderate rain showers or thunderstorms, while a SURFACE TROUGH stretches across SULU ARCHIPELAGO where partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with the potential for isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms can be expected in the mentioned region.

Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be clear to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
