EASTERLIES (EASTERLY TRADE WIND) replaces the receding NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) across NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION, SOUTHERN TAGALOG, EASTERN & NORTHERN VISAYAS bringing partly to mostly cloudy skies with occasional moderate to at times heavy rain showers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, a SURFACE TROUGH extends along the NORTHERN & EASTERN portion of MINDANAO where mostly cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms can be expected.
Lastly, the TROUGH of TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 90W over the South China Sea is bringing mostly cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms affecting much of PALAWAN especially over the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG).
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly cloudy to mostly periods with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
