TROPICAL DEPRESSION 01W (AGATON) is threatening to hit CENTRAL PALAWAN tonight. It was last seen near 329 km E of PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times torrential rains across PALAWAN, parts of MINDORO and WESTERN VISAYAS.
Meanwhile, the prevailing NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) continue to affect EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON, NORTHERN & EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION and MIMAROPA including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG) bringing mostly cloudy skies with moderate to at times heavy rain showers or thunderstorms Fresh breeze to Near-gale (30-55 kph) force winds will blow, making the seas Rough to High (2.0 to 5.5 meters) and dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
