WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Feb 16 until 12pm Feb 17, 2017

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) still continues bringing cool and blustery wind conditions with partly cloudy periods, some drizzles to isolated rain showers across Northern and Eastern Luzon, much of Visayas including the Northernmost reaches of Mindanao. Strong breeze of 30 to 48 kph with significant wave heights of 2.0 to 4.0 m (moderate to rough) will prevail along the seaboards of Northern and Eastern Luzon, particularly over Eastern Visayas and Northern Sulu Sea region and Northern Mindanao making the seas of the mentioned areas treacherous for medium to heavy sea vessels.

Meanwhile the Trough ahead of a Weak Low Pressure Area will bring mostly cloudy periods with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms across Mindanao. Moderate to strong breeze of 30 to 45 kph with significant wave heights of 2.0 to 3.0 m (moderate to rough) will prevail along the seaboards of Northern and Eastern Mindanao making the seas of the mentioned area treacherous for small to medium-sized sea vessels to navigate on.

The rest of the Philippines will have partly to mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas in the afternoon or late evening hours.

Keep safe, everyone! #WeatherAlert #WeatherWiser
