WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Feb 14 until 12pm Feb 15, 2017

The Surge of Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cool and mostly cloudy conditions with drizzles to scattered light rains over Northern and Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas. Strong breeze to near gale of 40 to 50 kph with significant wave heights of 3.0 to 4.0 m (rough to very rough) will prevail along Northern and Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas making the seas of the mentioned areas risky to both small and medium-sized vessels.

Meanwhile, the combined effect of the Trough of Weak Low Pressure Area and Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy conditions with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Mindanao. Strong breeze to near gale of 40 to 50 kph with significant wave heights of 3.0 to 4.0 m (rough to very rough) will prevail along the seaboards of Eastern Mindanao making the seas of the mentioned area risky to both small and medium-sized vessels.

The rest of the Philippines will have partly to mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or late evening hours.
