As of 9:00 AM today, TROPICAL DEPRESSION KAI-TAK (URDUJA) was located 253 km ENE of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.5 N 128.0 E). It will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with moderate to extreme scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over CENTRAL and SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF BICOL REGION, EASTERN, CENTRAL, and WESTERN VISAYAS, and NORTHERN and NORTHWESTERN SECTIONS OF MINDANAO.
NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will provide mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated to light scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over EXTREME NORTHERN, NORTHERN, and EASTERN LUZON and NORTHERN SECTIONS OF BICOL REGION. Strong breeze to near gale winds of 45 to 60 kph with significant wave heights of 4.0 to 5.5 m (Rough to Very Rough) are expected to prevail across the mentioned areas making the seas risky to both small and medium-sized sea vessels.
WEAK LPA and its TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with light to at times scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over PALAWAN and KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
