WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm December 12 until 12pm December 13, 2019

The Cold Surge of NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) has returned, bringing partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, cooler conditions with passing light to moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across BATANES AND BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, NORTHERN LUZON, CENTRAL & EASTERN LUZON, BICOL REGION, VISAYAS, including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG). Winds will be fresh to strong gale of 35 to 79 kph, making the seas moderate to rough/extremely high seas (2.0  to 10.0 meters) and is treacherous for all types of sea vessels to navigate on.

Meanwhile, a SURFACE TROUGH is extending well into NORTHERN & EASTERN MINDANAO, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorm in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

*Tropical Cyclone Formation or Tropical Disturbances (LPAs) are not present across the Western Pacific Ocean including the Philippine and South China Seas through the next 24 hours.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
