WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm August 21 until 12pm August 22, 2017

TROPICAL STORM HATO (ISANG) continues to move slowly towards BATANES ISLAND GROUP, while its TROUGH now covers the whole of EXTREME and NORTHERN LUZON. This should bring mostly cloudy periods with light to at times moderate to occasionally heavy rains. In the meantime, the SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW is now prevailing across WESTERN and CENTRAL LUZON, PALAWAN including the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG) and VISAYAS REGIONS.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have Partly to Mostly cloudy skies and the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
