The Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) remain stationary which extends over EASTERN LUZON bringing very warm temperatures and relatively dry conditions, while a SURFACE TROUGH stretches across SOUTHERN TAGALOG, VISAYAS, NORTHERN Parts of PALAWAN and MINDANAO. In the meantime, the SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW persists over the West Philippine Sea and is now affecting the KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG).
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES continues to have bright conditions with some cloud cover and the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
