WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Aug 20 until 12pm Aug 21, 2017

The TROUGH associated with the newly-formed TROPICAL DEPRESSION (TD) 15W [ISANG] located some 548 km east of Basco, Batanes – will bring partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions with scattered  to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms across CENTRAL & SOUTHERN LUZON including METRO MANILA, BICOL REGION, MINDORO, and NORTHERN VISAYAS.

Meanwhile, a SOUTHWESTERLY SURFACE WINDFLOW will bring partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions with scattered to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms across PALAWAN including the KALAYAAN and CALAMIAN GROUP OF ISLANDS.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will continue to have partly to mostly cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
