SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) enhanced by TYPHOON NORU (located outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility) – will bring generally cloudy conditions with occasional light to moderate to sometimes heavy rains and thunderstorms acrosss the WESTERN SECTIONS OF LUZON, METRO MANILA, BATANES and BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, MINDORO, PALAWAN, WESTERN VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, WESTERN and SOUTHERN MINDANAO. Moderate to strong breeze of 20 to 45 km/hr will be felt across the SEABOARDS OF EXTREME NORTHERN and WESTERN LUZON incl. SCARBOROUGH SHOAL, MINDORO, PALAWAN, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, SULU and WESTERN MINDANAO. The sea conditions along these areas will moderate (2.0 to 3.0 meters).
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
