Surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) affecting LUZON including BATANES AND BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, REST OF MIMAROPA, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, VISAYAS, NORTHERN AND EASTERN MINDANAO. Clear to generally cloudy skies with cooler conditions and occasional drizzles/light rain showers will be expected especially along the eastern sections. Fresh breeze to gale-force winds of 35 to 65 kph will blow, making the seas moderate to very rough/high seas (2.0 to 7.5 meters) and dangerous to all types of sea vessels.
Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will continue to have clear skies with partly cloudy and some chances of isolated to scattered rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
