TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 90W + TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and Thunderstorms across MINDANAO, VISAYAS, BICOL REGION, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, MIMAROPA, AND THE REST OF LUZON including METRO MANILA.
As of 4:00 PM today November 02, the center of LPA 90W has emerged over the West Philippine Sea, about 296 km WNW of Coron, Palawan (12.8°N Lat 117.5°E Lon). It was moving Westward towards the South China Sea. The potential of becoming a significant Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours remains LOW (<35% chance).
NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with cooler conditions and occasional drizzles, light to at times moderate rain showers or thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN AND NORTHERN LUZON. Fresh Breeze to Near-Gale Winds of 35 to 55 km/hr will be expected, making the seas moderate to very rough (2 to 5.5 meters) and dangerous to all kinds of sea vesssels.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
