WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 5pm December 14 until 5pm December 15, 2019

NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) continues to prevail, bringing partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, cooler conditions with passing light to moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across MOST PARTS OF LUZON, BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG), AND NORTHERN SULU ARCHIPELAGO. Winds will be fresh to gale-force of 35 to 65 kph, making the seas moderate to very rough/high seas (2.0  to 7.5 meters) and is treacherous for all types of sea vessels to navigate on.

Meanwhile, the warm EASTERLIES (EASTERLY SURFACE TRADE WINDS) is affecting much of VISAYAS AND MINDANAO bringing partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will have clear skies to partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorm in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

*Tropical Cyclone Formation or Tropical Disturbances (LPAs) are not present across the Western Pacific Ocean including the Philippine and South China Seas through the next 24 hours.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
