TROPICAL DEPRESSION (TD) 35W [USMAN] and its associated TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers or severe thunderstorms across BICOL REGION, VISAYAS AND NORTHEASTERN MINDANAO.
Meanwhile, as of 3:00 PM today, the center of TD 35W (USMAN) was located about 283 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.8°N Lat 128.3°E Lon), with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and was moving WNW @ 15 kph towards Eastern Visayas. Cold surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) together with the TAIL-END OF COLD FRONT (located along Extreme Northern Luzon) will affect LUZON including BICOL REGION, MINDORO, MARINDUQUE, ROMBLON, NORTHERN PANAY, AND THE CALAMIAN GROUP OF ISLANDS. Mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies, cooler conditions with occasional monsoon rains and thunderstorms will be felt along the abovementioned areas. This will be more frequent along Quezon and Bicol Provinces. Fresh breeze to gale-force winds from 35 to 70 km/hr is expected and the seas around these areas will be moderate to very rough and dangerous to all types of sea vessels.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and possible thunderstorms in some areas.
