Surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) together with the TAIL-END OF STATIONARY FRONT (located over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas) will bring partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies, cooler conditions with occasional monsoon rains and a few thunderstorms across LUZON including MINDORO, MARINDUQUE, ROMBLON, NORTHERN PANAY, BICOL REGION, AND EASTERN VISAYAS. Fresh breeze to Near Gale-Force Winds of 35 to 55 km/hr from the northeast will blow, making the seas moderate to very rough (high seas) [2.0 to 5.5 meters] and dangerous to all types of sea vessels.
Meanwhile, NORTHEASTERLIES (Northeasterly Surface Windflow/Weak Amihan) will continue to bring moderate to fresh breeze with partly to mostly cloudy skies, passing isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across REST OF VISAYAS, PALAWAN including KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, NORTHEASTERN AND EASTERN MINDANAO.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will continue to be clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms developing later.
Important note: In the infrared (IR) satellite image shown above: BLUE areas indicate Clear Skies with a Few Clouds; GREEN = Partly to Mostly Cloudy Skies; YELLOW = Mostly Cloudy to Hazy Skies with Possible Slight-to-Moderate Rainfall; and RED = Thunderstorms with Moderate to Heavy to sometimes Extreme Rainfall.
