SOUTHWESTERLIES (Southwesterly Surface Windflow/Weak Habagat) bringing clear to mostly cloudy skies, breezy with isolated to scattered light rain showers and thunderstorms across BATANES AND BABUYAN ISLAND GROUP, COASTAL AREAS OF ILOCOS REGION, AND SCARBOROUGH (PANATAG) SHOAL.
Meanwhile, a SURFACE TROUGH will continue to affect MINDANAO, SOUTHERN SULU ARCHIPELAGO, AND SOUTHERN PALAWAN – where mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will continue to be clear to mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
*There is no Tropical Disturbance (LPA) or Tropical Cyclone (TC) developing within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) through the next 24 hours.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
