Moderate SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) enhanced by the large TROPICAL STORM KROSA located south of Japan will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across NORTHERN AND CENTRAL LUZON including BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS, AND METRO MANILA, . The winds will be at moderate breeze to near gale (30-60 km/hr), making the seas moderate to high (1.5 to 5.5 meters) and very risky/dangerous to all sea vessels.
Meanwhile, SOUTHWESTERLIES (Southwesterly Surface Windflow) will bring clear to mostly cloudy skies with breezy conditions and some possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across REST OF CALABARZON, BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, AND VISAYAS.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will continue to be clear to mostly cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
