SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) prevailing across WESTERN LUZON, PANATAG SHOAL, METRO MANILA, BATANES GROUP OF ISLANDS, MINDORO, PALAWAN, ROMBLON, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP,  AND WESTERN VISAYAS. Partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected. The winds will be fresh to strong breeze (30 to 50 km/hr), making the seas moderate to rough (2.0 to 4.0 meters) and risky for small and medium seacrafts to navigate on.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
