Moderate to strong SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) enhanced by TS YAGI (KARDING) and LPA 96W is affecting LUZON including METRO MANILA, BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA, AND WESTERN VISAYAS. Partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered, widespread to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected, becoming more frequent along the western parts of Luzom. The winds will be fresh breeze to gale (35 to 70 km/hr), making the seas moderate to very rough (2.0 to 7.0 meters) and dangerous to all sea crafts to navigate on.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
