Surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) are still bringing slightly cooler conditions, mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) conditions with occasional drizzles, light to at times moderate rain showers and possible thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN-NORTHERN-EASTERN LUZON, SOUTHERN QUEZON, ORIENTAL MINDORO, BICOL REGION, WESTERN PALAWAN, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG), AND THE REST OF THE VISAYAS. The winds will be fresh to strong breeze (30 to 50 kph) across these areas, with moderate to rough seas (2.0 to 4.0 meters) and risky for small and medium-sized sea vessels.
Meanwhile, TROUGH of WEAK LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) is bringing partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across SOUTHERN VISAYAS AND MINDANAO.
REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy periods with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening in some areas.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
