WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm September 09 until 12pm September 10, 2019

SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) enhanced by the active MONSOON TROUGH will continue to bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered to occasional light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN, NORTHERN AND CENTRAL LUZON including METROPOLITAN MANILA. Winds of fresh to strong breeze (30-50 km/hr) with moderate to rough seas of 2 to 4 meters will be expected. The seas over these areas will be risky for small and medium-sized sea vessels.

Meanwhile, SOUTHWESTERLIES (Southwesterly Surface Windflow/Weak Habagat) will continue to bring partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across MIMAROPA, SOUTHERN LUZON, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, AND THE VISAYAS.

THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

*There are no Tropical Cyclones spotted within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at this time.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
