WEAK LOW PRESSURE AREA + TROUGH will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers with Ordinary to Severe Thunderstorms across MINDANAO, EASTERN AND CENTRAL VISAYAS.
As of 11:00 AM today October 30, the center of the WEAK LPA was located over the South Philippine Sea, about 619 km East of Davao City (7.5°N Lat 131.0°E Lon). It was moving West-Northwestward @ 37 kph towards NE MINDANAO and VISAYAS. No development will be expected from this weather system.
NORTHEASTERLIES (Northeasterly Surface Windflow/Weak Amihan) will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies, moderate to fresh breeze with isolated to scattered rain showers and possible thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN AND EASTERN LUZON, AND BICOL REGION.
Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will remain clear to partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for possible flashfloods, landslides or lightning strikes during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
